I'm a personal trainer in Belconnen, Canberra

I discovered the gym as an adult with naïve enthusiasm, moving from machine to machine with no clue what to do. I remember how intimidating the free weights section was and how overwhelming the mountain of online exercise advice was.

Now, the gym has become a place for me to explore movement, build strength for the activities of life, improve my mental health, challenge myself, and work towards a variety of strength, muscle building, weight management, sports, and movement goals. I believe it can become the same for you too!

As a personal trainer, I'll work with you to figure out how exercise fits in your life and supports your goals. I combine my experience of a decade working in education, equity, and inclusion and a structured approach born from my training as an engineer to hear, empower, and support you.

Exercise Coaching

I’ll show you how to perform exercises optimally for you and your goals. 

Understanding exercise form that respects your anatomy, strengths, and weaknesses means achieving goals while lowering injury risk. 

Personalised Programming

You’ll know what to do every time you come into the gym.

 

I'll build a personalised program tailored to your goals and meeting you where you are. You'll see your exercises and we'll both track your progress via my app. 

Accountability

Consistency is the key to progress. Miss a week of training? I’ll check in with you!

 

Don’t worry, I understand that life happens and we all have competing priorities. Expect gentle reminders, not a drill sergeant.

I'm based at the Canberra International Sports and Aquatic Centre (CISAC), a Club Lime facility.
